was a center for contemporary art in Southeast Portland, Oregon. It was led by a desire to support artists, propose new modes of production, and stimulate the ongoing public discourse around art. This website serves as an archive of Yale Union’s programming from 2011 through 2021.

Yale Union acknowledges that it occupies the traditional lands of the Multnomah, Chinook, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Tualatin Kalapuya, Molalla, and other Indigenous peoples.

COMMUNITY

In addition to its spaces dedicated to artistic programming, Yale Union’s facilities are a site to support local artists and community members in their artistic and cultural practices. Our building houses production spaces including: artist studios, a wood shop and PRINT SHOP, recording studios, a kitchen for community gatherings, and small craft businesses.

Yale Union is proud to support the community groups linked at right by regularly hosting programs, meetings, workspace, and events in our spaces.

Schools & Group Visits

While exhibitions are on view, we are happy to accommodate visits from schools, universities, and other groups. Please EMAIL to arrange a visit.
