Karin Schneider’s event at Yale Union is a collaborative effort that was previously performed at Transmission (Glasgow) and Artists Space (New York).

Schneider was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 1970, and has lived in New York since the 1990s. Schneider was a co-founder of Orchard, a cooperatively-run exhibition space that was in operation from 2005 to 2008, and she is co-founder of CAGE, an artist-run space for experimental artistic production currently in operation on New York’s lower east side. Her film production company, Union Gaucha Productions, was active from 1997 until 2010 and is currently receiving its first comprehensive exhibition of screenings at Artists Space, New York.
